The objective of the Beyond Text: using your voice online project has been to research the range of unique advantages and opportunities that new online voice technologies can bring to teaching and learning and how these technologies can be used to support innovative teaching practice.

 

The case studies

The project has explored four online voice technologies with a range of learner types and within the context of four different learning environments. The innovative teaching practice developed during these trials is documented in the case studies.

The facilitator guides

The project has developed practical guides and pedagogical guidelines, in the form of facilitator guides, which describe how these new technologies can be integrated into new teaching practices. There are four Facilitator Guides within this resource, one for each of the online voice technologies.

Future directions

Project research has also identified some of the future directions for and emerging issues around the use of online voice technologies in education.
