Introduction

The case studies describe how online voice technologies can be integrated into course design and delivery to provide opportunities for learning that would otherwise not be available to the learners.

The case studies illustrate new practices for teaching and learning that the voice technologies have made possible in four different learning contexts.

Online voice technologies in practice

Each case study includes:

  • A photo story (7-8 minutes)
    Teachers and course designers in vocational education and training, industry and English as a second language contexts describe the learners, the challenges and the solutions.
  • The online voice learning activities (1 -2 pages)
    The downloadable activities documents describe some of the voice-related learning activities in detail.
  • The pedagogy (1 page)
    The pedagogy documents describe the underpinning theory of learning that forms the basis of each learning design.
